Roger Federer looked great in his opening match against a good friend of his in Dominik Hrbaty. A straight sets win with no tie breaks needed. You'd say it was the perfect start for him, sets him up for the tournament well. Robert Soderling up next for the five-time champion.

Just saw that match and thought it was a perfect tune-up just like Neil M. He never looked in danger and played some wonderful tennis, albeit under very little or no pressure. Looking good for yet another title.

Great start for the Champion - and remember he is still the Champion. There seems to be a lot of Rafa Nadal bandwagon jumpers at this point and I think that is grossly unfair on Federer.
